Dr. Aminu Maida, the EVC/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), continued his familiarization tour, recently visiting the Kano State Zonal Office. Covering the North West and North East geopolitical zones, the Kano Zonal Office welcomed Dr. Maida, fostering interactions with the Commission's leadership and staff.

During the visit, discussions revolved around updates on activities, engagements, and challenges within the Zonal Office. Dr. Maida expressed gratitude for the staff's hard work and commitment, outlining key priorities for the Commission: prioritizing investment in human assets, fostering collaboration, enhancing compliance activities, embracing digitalization for process efficiency, and ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Dr. Maida emphasized the Commission's strategic focus on serving the Industry/Licensees, the Government, and, notably, the Consumers. In addition to the Zonal Office visit, Dr. Maida toured the NCC Emergency Communication Centre (ECC) in Kano.
